I want to thank NetGalley and Harper Collins for allowing me to read this ARC! I admittedly had a hard time with finishing the previous book in the series due to my own personal reading taste when it comes to fiction, but I was excited to come back to the Vega family with Leo and Sofi’s story. I believe that many readers will be able to relate to both Sofi and Leo in their struggles with vulnerability and facing your fears. Both of the main characters emotional journeys, balanced with the Vega family antics made for a great story that left room for humor and tugged on your heartstrings. As someone newer to the Chicago area it felt so fun to read a reflection of the community that I’ve grown to love done with so much joy and care. Highly recommend!
