This was a wonderful sequel. I personally thought there was lots of great character development.
However, even though I loved the spicy scenes, I wish there were more nonsexual intimate scenes. The trust building between Kierse and Graves felt sincere and believable BUT I think it would have been even stronger with more intimate scenes.
There is a lot going on but it’s all tied together nicer and there doesn’t seem to be any lose threads. That’s hard to do and I love books with complicated plots.
There’s some tough stuff that happens toward the end! Be warned.
And although there is plenty that needs to be answered still and will definitely have me reading the next book, I also felt satisfied about how many answers we did get in this one. THAT is how you write a series that will be more than 2 books.
