Sweet Regret
by K. Bromberg
Rockstar, single mother, ex-high school sweetheart, second chance romance. Sign. Me. Up! Who doesn't love a troubled rockstar who needs to save his career and, to do so, must work with the only woman he has ever loved? Oh, the tension and the feels because Bristol Matthews got her heart broken by Vince Jennings when he left her to pursue his music.
But the chemistry is there. The more they work together, the more they remember the easiness of being together. It's effortless and feels right. But seven years have passed since he walked away. Vince still struggles with his past. Meanwhile, Bristol has been keeping a huge secret that could change everything.
Bristol has so much strength and grace; she has a beautiful heart and soul. Vince was more of an acquired taste... At times he was too much, and I felt compelled to shake some sense into him. While his demons explain some of his actions, he isn't an easy character to like. And Jagger? The kid stole the show. He is adorable.
