Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life by Marshall B. Rosenberg
Did not finish book. Stopped at 66%.
Need to fill out more later but:
- needs restructuring. Admits self compassion comes before others, but then waits 50% of book to explain how to do that
- appears to ignore most socioeconomic differences and reasons people may be upset by them
- feels like victim blaming. "Your anger is your fault " can be a dangerous argument
- would have liked more diversity of examples tbh
- claims you're not being the world's therapist..... Then proceeds to write a book where you're basically being a therapist
- inadequate description of depression imo
Being introspective is good, but this book puts a huge burden on the reader.
