The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy: The Summer I Turned Pretty; It's Not Summer Without You; We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han
4.0
Every summer for years Belly has been going to the beach house with her family and her mother’s best friend. This summer she turns 16 and finds herself drawn to both of the Fisher's sons.
This was such a cute book. I love Jenny Han's writing style. It is so light and fluffy. Her work always takes me back in time to relive my first love.
Belly was so naive and lovable. She was just consumed with the idea of growing up and being in love. I think she captures captures this time period in our lives perfectly. These are the years were we are just so unsure about ourselves and desperately yearn to be wiser than our years.
I really loved the Fisher boys. Jeremiah and Conrad are so different. Jeremiah is so much more out there and funny, while Conrad is more introverted and laid back.
I absolutely adored this book. I can't wait to start the next one.
I give this book a B
