The Water Cure by Sophie Mackintosh

Very confusing, listened to it on audiobook and not sure I would have made it through if I had actually read it. A lot of food for thought on feminism, male-female dynamics, and the line between love and cruelty. The cognitive dissonance of the girls was interesting, and made me wonder if they were unreliable narrators to a degree, although they are simply speaking their truth and all they know. Speaking only of what they knew left something to be desired as I would have liked further explanation of the water cure itself and the visiting women. Really interesting though, I would definitely recommend.
