The Drowning Woman by Robyn Harding

dark mysterious tense fast-paced

2.75

This had me turning each page to know what happens next. I do appreciate a simple mystery with completely detestable villains. This was an overall thrilling read. No frills, and no huge interwoven conspiracy pointing towards a calculated plan by the antagonist. There are some twists that come out of pure chance (even though convenient), and this is one of those books.
