This is my THIRD and final attempt to get into this book. Gurl, please. Prose is unnecessarily complex and inaccessible (which blows my mind since

the main character can’t even read

) Several people have told me they love this book, and the ratings are off the chart, yet I’m not convinced. I give this book an HLP rating (highfalutin literary pricks).
