The Isle of the Lost
by Melissa de la Cruz
It could've been better. I felt like there wasn't really a plot until the end. And, even then I was expecting so much to happen with just ten pages left, and then you realize the book is a prequel for the Disney channel movie it's based on. I'm just a little disappointed. It was entertaining and humorous, but the ending didn't win me over. The characters were nice and well developed. I'm gonna have to watch the movie in order to feel at peace with this story. But, I guess that's the point. All in all, it could've been better, but it wasn't bad.
