The Perfect First by Maya Hughes

Football romances never intrigued me - mostly because football is my third favourite sport so why would I give it the time?! But DAMN did Reece's story hook me in! I have never been so into a book that even when my eyes were droopy, when I was fighting sleep, that I fought to keep reading.

A love story about a girl who's trying to gain control of her life, and a boy who has one and only goal in his life: to play pro football.

Two people who, a second later, would have never crossed paths, and whose lives could be so different.

Two people who craved someone to keep them grounded but also bring out the adventurous side of you.

This was a story truly about being the best version of yourself but also the version of yourself that's willing to learn, to take risks, to try something new and different.

I absolutely loved this book, and I can't wait to dive into the Fulton U series even more. Thanks Deb for nagging me about Maya Hughes. I'm in love.
