I think this book doesn't need a sequel, I mean just put the series in one book as a whole. The pace was too fast that I didn't have enough time to engage with the characters, sorry.
And I don't really like the M & FMC too, they're too sweet to be in a dark romance book lol. MMC said he's a killer or so, but I didn't see any brutality in his nature. You know, I could read more darker theme than this. I hope book two will be better. And FMC's bestie save the book, I love her sm!! She's FUNNY and I want to be HER friend instead!!!!
