SO GOOD. The gasps I gusped!! It was a little slow to get into at first, but i FLEW through the second half!! So so good, stayed up until 2:30 so I could finish. Wish there was a little more of a “get to know you” of the romance side, felt very immediate for me, but still great!! The foreshadowing was amazingly done, where I didn’t totally guess what was gonna happen but still did enough that I was so excited I got it right. Can’t wait to read book two!
