This is an amazing book. Anyone who likes Space Dramas heavy on action and science fiction will love this book. I have watched most of the television series and liked it so much that I decided to read the source books. I am so glad I did! The book are both prescient and precursory without giving anything away or hitting you over the head with it. I am sure that the show did the same, but after know how some things turn out you really notice the subtle hints that the authors drop for you.

I want to stress, reading this after seeing the show will not prevent you from enjoying this book. There is so much more insight into the characters that you will entertained and enlightened. For those who have never seen the shows, this is an excellent book about the lives of people, some from Earth and some born off planet and how even when we extend our reach, we still find things to tear us apart further. It is a book of struggle, a book of class war as much as it is about interplanetary war. It is a book about doing the right thing, and also not knowing what is right.

I waited 18 weeks for this audiobook to be available to me from my local library. It was well worth the wait. I devoured this book I liked it so much and immediately put the next book on my waitlist.
