The Mayan Secrets by Clive Cussler, Thomas Perry

1.0

Not a "bad" book, but WAY too predictable. I realize that the audience of Cussler wants predictable and exciting, but it's hard to get through something that creates such an impossible world. The main characters continuously just getting away from situations with their lives, discovering hidden and immense treasures, all mixed with romance. Also, why does Cussler have to intimately describe every weapon used? Do people really care what the bad guy gets shot with?
