While I loved the characters and Samantha seriously ripped my MF heart out in this book the book felt very much like the pacing was off. The pov changes in the first 2/3 of it were very jarring and took me out of the flow every time. Glorian and Wulf were my absolute favorite characters. Their friendship and connection felt genuine. Not to mention how much of a BAMF Glorian is. She's so scared but still stands up for her people in the most meaningful ways
