Isaiah and Kennedy. I Live, Laugh, Loved it!! 🥰
I really enjoyed how Liz T. took a character who we already fell in love with in Caught Up as the lighthearted, jokester, “Baby Rhodes” and gave his character some major depth in his story while keeping that boyish charm that we grew to love. We learned that he’s much, much more.
Kennedy’s character also gained some texture as we learned about her family dynamic outside of her stepbrother Dean and the struggles of being a female in the male dominated sports industry.
Watching them grow independently while growing together gave all the cozy romance vibes with a dash of lighthearted humor.
I also can’t ever get enough of the cameos of couples/friends from the earlier books within the series. Rio is my BOY! I’ll never grow tired of his antics!
I’ll also add that the spice hit different in this one in a good way. You’ll have to read it to get what I mean ❤️
Found Family and Marriage of Convenience will always be my top tropes and this one checked both boxes.
