The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent

It took me a little while to get into this story, but the ending absolutely made it worth it. The action scenes were exciting, the plot kept me hooked, and the characters were really compelling. Especially their complicated relationships, which I enjoyed a lot.

The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is that there were a few moments where I found my attention drifting.

Overall, though, it’s a great read and I’m glad I stuck with it!
