I absolutely adored this book. It broke my heart, but it mended every little piece back together in the end. This is a beautiful depiction of trauma that had me highlighting so many resonant lines. While some of the abuse is hard to read about, the bulk of this book is heartwarming and worth wading through the deep waters.
