Absolutely beautiful!
The sentences are written so smooth. They read almost as if each word is carved on thick cream, hardened in sugar coated literature, framed in poetic verses, adored in rhythmic phrases.
Wanted to Finish His Dark Materials trilogy as soon as possible because I have shelved it for a criminally long period. However, I couldn't just bring myself finish it so soon. It was too good for a speed read.
I had expectations for the first book after being a fan of the HBO series, and I am pleased to confess this book was written as well as I had heard of.
I am quite baffled by the fact HDM trilogy is not as famous its counterparts in the literature world.
