It’s such an interesting premise and I’m sure much of it went over my head! The concept centers around daily farm laborers and the struggle to survive in a world that does not show them the respect they deserve and uses them for only their labor. This book shows a family and a few others and highlights their story in an effort to show how those doing these jobs are the hardest working and bravest people on Earth and that they are forced to persevere in situations beyond what most of us could imagine
Minor: Body horror, Racism, Medical content, Grief, Abandonment, Injury/Injury detail
