Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin

I guess I didn't review this the first time I read it?
But, to be fair, this is a tough book to review, it's essentially a really well-written, fictional history book. And I kind of love it. I particularly love this "choose your own adventure" approach to history - different versions of the same story, different takes on character motivations, different interpretations of events. I do wish this was a series of novels, and actually seeing GRRM write amazing dialogue and in-depth character interactions would have been fascinating. But, even as is, it's a wonderful addition to the World of Ice and Fire. Impossible to remember it all or to keep all of these events, names and relationships straight, but still wonderful.
