At first I was confused by the lack of speech marks used by author but I got used to it pretty quickly and fell in love with the story at the same speed. It's not a happy book, it made me feel incredibly sad sometimes but the fact that this book has the power to make me feel like that speaks volumes of the quality of the writing.
