The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center
this was cute funny and had so much second hand embarrassing moments. exactly like all good romcoms. did i think emma was silly and a bit too much? yes but i was rooting for her all the way!
respect to author but i kinda disagree with some romcom takes. but hey we have diff tastes and clearly the author loves romcom and this is a love letter to it.
lastly you don’t understand how much i missed reading books that don’t focus in how large big and strong a guy is. or how tiny and dainty the women is. or how modelesque she is. obvi emma was beautiful and he was tall strong and what not but there was none of that beating it over our heads with it. sure emma thought he was hot but idk it felt like normal crush. i find a lot romance these days lean heavy on focusing on the physical. i’m no prude. you could check my reading history to find that last year was rh filled. i just wish romances focused on you know the romance and yeah then smut. this had zero btw. i don’t think it would have been better or worse with it. all i know is i liked it just as.
