For some reason, I thought this was a sweet little story about an introverted woman discovering love but boy, was I wrong. Reading this during a time when I felt mentally unstable was not the best decision I’ve made. The writing of the interactions between characters felt more like that of a script than a novel but I thought it was realistic either way. The rating is purely based on the fact that Fuyuko made me feel more isolated and depressed than I have felt in a while, so it’s wholly subjective.
