A quick review since I didn’t have time for the first one. I like the world and how it feels fleshed out. Both books had stories that made sense with reasons for the characters to do what they were doing. This one felt like it had more waiting and buildup, but the pay off was good. 

It’s a fun fantasy novel that really brought me in with a small romance plot. Easy to get lost in without being too much.
