Listening to the audiobook was akin to having the tv on in the background and the narrator was doing a voice over. It was a pleasant experience to listen to and at somewhere around 3.5 hours long, considerably short even though it took me a while to get through. I thought the pacing was pristine and well done. It was quick, it was action packed, and it was a bite size episode of an adventure for our quite lovable Murderbot.
My biggest struggle with this wasn't the content or the pacing, it was just the cast of characters. There were *so* many characters. There were almost too many to keep up with while listening to the audio version. It is harder to flip back through and see who is talking, when, and where when you don't have a physical book and that made this a little harder to parse. But overall, still quite an easy, quick, and enjoyable read.
