The Sinner by Kelsey Clayton
5.0

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

This is my first Kelsey Clayton book and holy wow, I have no words. None. But I am going back and adding all of her previous works to my TBR because she left me completely and utterly speechless.
Grayson and Savannah's story captivated me on a level that totally floored me. They were everything I didn't even know I was missing, but now that I had the chance to read them, I can't imagine not having them on my reading list.

From the very beginning, you're pulled into this story. You hate Grayson from the start because you want Savannah to be okay, especially with the opening we had. The side characters have you just as invested as the main characters. As the story evolves and the plot develops, you feel everything the main characters are feeling.

I'm not even sure what to call this trope, because it's second chance, friends to enemies to lovers, and it is so full of angst that you can't help but feel the tension as you read. You can't put the book down, you can't do the laundry that needs to get done, you can't even think about food because you need the answers and you need them right now.

If you're looking for a book that checks all those boxes, then this is the book for you. I can't wait to see what else comes from Kelsey in this series.

Five stars for this angst-filled read that has you on your knees as you feel every single emotion throughout the entire book.
