Beautiful writing but personally difficult to finish.

I literally finished 3 other books before deciding to finish what I started (Jane Eyre). The first and last parts were exciting, but I got unmotivated to get through the middle part.

The romance between Jane and Mr. Rochester is subtle but will surely get the butterflies in your stomach flutter. I love how Jane internalized and vocalized her sentiments with such delicacy, uncertainty, angst, and intelligence.

What got me a bit weirded out is the relationship between a teenager and a literal grown man, which back in time, is considered perfectly normal.
