I never knew this book existed and am so happy it does! I love the poetry bits in between the short stories. The stories are typical Lucy Maud Montgomery - with sort of a dark twist. The family of Anne Shirley Blythe is mentioned in each story distantly, but I would rather have read more about the Blythes instead of hearing stories of other people loosely connected. But being the AofGG fan I am, I quite enjoyed it.
