When Wren is yanked out of her life as a confectioner’s apprentice & blamed for the murder of the head of her own guild, she must uncover the real killer—before she is executed for a crime she didn’t commit. I loved the subtle worldbuilding & social commentary in this book the more time I spent with it, & I’m so glad there are two more in the series!
