Do Better: Spiritual Activism for Fighting and Healing From White Supremacy by Rachel Ricketts

4.0

I wouldn't consider myself a spiritual person so I wasn't sure if the Spiritual Activism concept would connect with me, but I found this book really challenging and also soothing in a way that felt like talking to someone you know well. I was able to connect with the author and the way that she talks about taking action to end white supremacy's stranglehold on the globe. I really liked the exercises at the end of each chapter and how real the language is throughout the book. Recommend this one for sure, it will show just how crucial the work of supporting Black and Indigenous liberation is.
