I absolutely adore this book! I finished it in a day, it's short indeed, but also fast paced, you will not be able to put it down! When I've read it, it felt like I was watching an old slasher movie, but at the same time with modern characters and surroundings.
This narrative bears a resemblance to the immensely popular slasher movies from the 1990s, invoking memories of beloved teen favorites like Scream and Urban Legends.
The plot revolves around a group of 6 girls, who go to a private boarding school for european students, Europea. As the story unfolds, the girls start to get unalived one by one by what seams to be a serial killer following the pattern of their names in the group chat. But what happens when the killer doesn't follow the pattern anymore? Who is the next target? Why is the killer after them?
Read this book to get your answers! I didn't know I needed this book in my life, but here I am waiting for the second book in the trilogy. The vibes are unmatched and it's a perfect story for the upcoming autumn.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys slasher thrillers and unexpected plot twists! If you're a horror movies fan and enjoyed Scream or Urban Legends or Friday the 13th, this book is also for you. It's not too gory, but check TW before reading it.
