REVIEW: So this book was not at all what I thought I was going to read. I was here for some dark romance with chains and instead. I got a story about enduring slavery and finding love and healing in unlikely places. The story. Somehow have both insta-love and is a slow-burn is the protagonist (who is chained, enslaved and mute. for most of the book) learn to trust the five men she has been given to. The story is very much about power, powerlessness and healing from hape. It is also a story about trust and love I was not really interested in the romance, but the world and wider plot made me pick up the next one.
It ends on a cliffhanger
