Sutton Asylum
by Kinsley Kincaid
I’d been looking forward to this book for a while, and now that I’ve finally read it, I can say it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. The story centers around a brother and sister with a forbidden relationship, who suffer horrible abuse from their parents until one day they snap and brutally murder them.
Afterwards, they’re locked up in Sutton Asylum, where they become the undisputed King and Queen of the institution. The other patients worship them, and they have everyone under their control. But what happens when someone tries to shake up their reign? This part of the story kept me on edge.
I loved it, and I happily threw my morals out the window as I rooted for them to give those nurses and doctors what they ‘deserved.’ Secretly, I hoped they’d even find some twisted version of a happily ever after.
And let’s not even get started on DEXY… I picked up his book right after finishing this one!
