The Darkest Temptation by Danielle Lori

4.0

I kinda have mixed feelings about this one. I may say this was my first legit experience in dark romance.

I generally like fierce female leads rather than naive ones. That's why I loved Gianna in book two. And maybe that's why I hated Mila and loved Roman initially, then started to like Mila and hated Ronan (when he revealed his true nature) and then loved them both especially Ronan. (Though nothing could compare to Christian)

Ronan had a single line in book 2 and just from that I knew Ronan was not at all like Christian. Christian is unique and at another level.
Ronan is justifiably Dyavol.

I loved Kat and Gianna. Especially Kat. A mix of sassyness from Gianna and i-don't-give-fuck vibe and intellect from Christian.

I loved the scene where Nadia and Mila have a hair pull out fight and Gianna and Kat watch the entertainment.

I'm intrigued about Tatianna, Mila'a mother. I'd like a novella about her maybe.

The best scene was Ronan running in his boxer briefs to the outhouse to first lock up Mila and then rescue her in less than fifteen minutes. This was the scene I fell in love with Ronan. He didn't give a shit about what his men thought.

And khaos.... I'm in love.
