It is definetly a slow burn, but felt more like love at first sight, didn't feel like they got to know eachother well before jumping into love.....also not a fan of the way the main character was describing everything in an "artistic" way, felt cringy but I understand that it was perfectly describing the character and the mention of fate at the end was so cringy I swear 💀 + at the 2nd half of the story I wasn't rooting for them anymore, they were just unlikeable at the end I don't know why but I felt like the happiest person ever when Monika slapped Ethan and scolded Alice and cut her off, these b**ches deserved it 😂 but I don't hate them anymore...not as much they just annoy me Other than that I enjoyed it 💓
A big fat bonus for how Monika reacted after she found out their secret, finally a realistic reaction to a taboo relationship, unlike some other taboo romance book that stated that "the son just came to terms with his dad sleeping with his gf" like wtf?! 💀 I'm looking at you Penelope Douglas 👀
