The summary really undersells the volume and intensity of DV, SA, and abuse in this book. I'm not sure I would recommend this book to anyone without a detailed understanding of their personal background and history with these topics. 


Deya is an incredible and inspiring character. Isra's POV is a poignant and accurate depiction of depression and the poison of abuse. F*** literally everyone else in this book except that one neighbor, but especially f*** Fareeda.
