Overall I like the Six Pack Ranch stories. They are a good combination of sweet and wholesome and wickedly hot. And in this story the conflicts seemed more complex and realistic even if the happy ending is just a tad too perfect. The narrator was serviceable but I might recommend reading it on your own. Her voice is nice but it was really hard to differentiate between the male characters which ended up being a little distracting when I couldn’t figure out who was talking. And her narration during the sex scenes was just okay; she just didn’t convey a lot of emotion. The sex scenes are still way hot but with a better narrator they would have been even better. And this story has convinced me to take a look at other books in the series (I’ve read the first one) whenever I get the urge to read about hot cowboys.
