I have loved this entire series. I'll admit I spent the first two books hating Madeline. But did we really know her? This book dives deep. Some is hard to read. She's been through a lot and covers it up with being a "mean girl" (isn't that usually the case?). Eric sees something there. They used to be friends until she flipped the script. He *wants* to hate her. But he can't.

Watching them peel back the layers and rediscover each other gave me all the feels. And the fact that he persisted and never gave up on her warmed my heart.

Each book gets better than the last and I'm not even sure how that's possible!!
