I am intrigued by the general plot, and want to know what the hell is going on between the different factions. However, I'm very meh about the characters. No one listens to the twins when they say they do not want the throne, they just want their financial and magical inheritance. Not even their supporters listen! 

I will probably read the rest of the series so I can fricken find out how it ends, but it won't be an immediate thing that takes place.
