The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
4.0

This book was a heck of a ride. I really enjoyed how fast paced it was. It jumped right into the action of a child going missing and kept going until the end. It was told through multiple POVs, which was a great way to see how each character was handling the kidnapping. It also kept you guessing at which characters were reliable.

None of the characters were really likeable, but that didn't bother me. I did connect a bit with Anne, especially with her struggles with motherhood. Being a new mom is hard!

It had many twists throughout which made you want to get to the end to see what happens.

If you like unreliable narrators, quick reads, and domestic thrillers, this is the book for you.
