Triad's Cure
by Mae Pierce
It’s a solid ending to the duet.
I loved the characters, and how the fMC didn’t immediately forgive the guy(s) without being needlessly stubborn. There was good communication, which is truly a unicorn to find in books, and I loved it. I especially loved the way Tallis showed he was sorry.
Although there is a big, world spanning plot, I felt like all that stuff was solved quite easily and without much talk about it, so I’d definitely say that it’s more a character-focused duet. I could’ve used a little bit more solid plot and more of an explanation as to how the curse had come to be exactly and what all happened after that. But I loved the characters and the focus on them, so well done!
