Is there something magical about demon sperm that makes birth control not work? SERIOUSLY? If demon-love-interest needs to sleep with the main character to get his powers, but pregnancy would be a problem... C-O-N-D-O-M-S. B-I-R-T-H-C-O-N-T-R-O-L. HONESTLY, you're in MODERN-DAY JAPAN. These things EXIST and would solve ALL OF YOUR CONFLICTS.

If you're going to have a stupid conflict that places a ridiculous value on the (female) main character's virginity (which is problematic and arguably misogynist), at least have that conflict pretend to make sense in-universe. If I can solve all of your characters' problems with a simple measure, your plot is flawed and you need to rethink it or at least give some justification for why it wouldn't work.
