All-American Muslim Girl by Nadine Jolie Courtney

I read this book in one sitting (late at night, it’s now 1 am), and it was so good! I love Alia as a character and I loved seeing her come into herself and explore her religion and culture more. This book was really sweet for the most part, and honestly it made me cry in some parts. It was written in such a way that I felt the emotions Alia was feeling in a lot of scenes, her fear, her anger, her sadness, and especially her joy at finding her way and new friends. It was a really lovely book and I definitely recommend it
