Interesting worldbuilding, the city was an imaginative setting. Well thought out plot that I enjoyed despite predicting some of the twists. Can't rate any higher because the characters felt a bit flat and overall the book was missing the wow factor for me. The romance was severely unromantic and their interactions were dull. I'm invested enough in the world that I would pick up the next book though.
