This book absolutely lived up to the hype.
I listened to it in audiobook format and I have to say that I don't think I would have gotten the same experience were it not for the audio.
The MMC and FMC are truly loveable characters. They were funny, dark, and adventurous in all the right ways. The story is told from alternating first-person POV from Josh and Aly's perspective so getting to hear their inner thoughts and unique voices was an interesting dynamic. They were such compelling characters that I was almost convinced this behavior would be normal outside of the book (that's how great the writing and characters are!)
10/10 recommend if you're looking for a dark romance that can also be humorous and slow-burn.
