This is the 3rd book in the Whittier Falls series, and can be read as a standalone. I have read book 2 and thoroughly enjoyed Walker and Caroline's story, so was looking forward to this one.
Mason is single dad to Abby (Abigail) and has his hands full with not just his daughter, but his work around the ranch. He works with Gray and Walker (brothers), but he himself has always felt like family as well. He never expects to find a love like Gray and Walker have found so is blown away by Chloe. Chloe arrives clouded in walls, secrets, scars, and a life she wants to leave behind. She starts working at the spa that is run by Grays wife, Eryn. She finds herself struggling to make ends meet, and to hold on to the motel room she is staying in, when Eryn introduces her to Mason. Mason has a cottage on his property that he has restored, and once he meets her, he sees that Chloe needs this.
It is a beautifully written and is a cute wee story where Chloe and Mason find what has been missing in themselves, each other. The healing, the love, the trust.
