Really a mixed bag, but their literary significance gave them another star. The Murders in the Rue Morgue and The Gold Bug were both a yawn, but The Tell-Tale Heart and The Cask of Amontillado still give me goosebumps.

TW for animal cruelty in The Black Cat. Just skip that whole story.
