i was so excited to read this book because the premise sounded so interesting to me but the writinf style made it so hard for me to want to pick it up.. it feels like the author tries so hard to make a point, make us understand something. i liked how it’s not just a fiction but has commentary on stuff like womanhood, trans experiences, pregnancy etc but why would you try so hard.. so im soft dnfing it for now maybe pick it up again later
