The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris was heart wrenching but amazing to read. I loved that it was based on a true story, as sad as the content was to read. This was a page-turner from the start, and if you haven’t read it, I would suggest checking it out. Obviously it has a plethora of hard to read scenes, but overall, the message and tenacity of the characters is worth the struggles you get to share with them. I really loved these characters, and I think you’ll fall in love with them too. If you can stomach the violent and traumatic moments, I can’t recommend this book highly enough.
